Director of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: OpenText

It was my honor to develop, lead and operationalize OpenText’s first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging global strategy, department and initiatives. In my time as Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, I worked with the CEO and senior leadership to create a strategy and a global governance and volunteer structure. I then implemented multiple initiatives within this structure and strategy including starting 10 Employee networks, 11 volunteer teams, a mentoring program, multiple trainings and quarterly global events. I advised and trained senior leadership teams to champion DEIB throughout the culture of the company and in all practices: business, partnerships, policies, communications and processes. I was thrilled that over 11,000 employees participated in the DEIB initiatives that I started and the inclusion scores increased 19% in less than 2 years.
